Peter Studdert
Peter was appointed Director for Sustainable Communities for Cambridgeshire Horizons in November 2004, having previously been Director of Planning at Cambridge City Council since 1991. An architect and town planner by training, Peter has 28 years experience in local government, having also worked for a number of Inner London Boroughs from 1976 to 1991. He represents the East of England on the Regional Committee of the Commission for Architecture and the Built Environment (CABE), and he is also a member of English Heritage Advisory Committee. He is a member of the Heritage Review Steering Committee of the Department for Culture, Media and Sport, and during 2003/4 he was a member of the Government's Sustainable Buildings Task Group.
